The family of 26-year-old Ronald “Ronnie” Wainright said he was in the parking lot of the Walmart store in Aurora when he shot and killed four people and wounded two others on Friday night.
Wainright, who was described as mentally ill and had a history of mental illness, had been a regular at the store, the family said in a statement Saturday.
