Aussie shooting star cast for Aurora shooting, shooting spree

Posted October 15, 2018 08:30:00Aussie shooting superstar actor Jai Courtney has been cast in the upcoming Aurora shooting spree, which has killed six people and injured 59.

Jai Courtney stars as Detective Constable Jason Vellert in the crime thriller, Aurora, which is being released on October 16.

The film is based on the book by the Australian author Daniel Pink.

The movie, starring Courtney, will also star Emma Stone, Daniel Radcliffe, Olivia Wilde, Emily Watson, Jack O’Connell and Daniel Radford.

Aurora is the second major Hollywood release from director Christopher Nolan, who has been producing films about mass shootings since his debut film, The Dark Knight Rises.

Nolan also is producing the upcoming Warner Bros movie The Dark Tower series, starring Stephen King.

Norman’s most recent films include The Dark World, starring Michael Fassbender, Jason Clarke and Tilda Swinton, and Dunkirk, starring Tom Hardy and Elizabeth Olsen.

The latest Hollywood shooting is the deadliest on record, with a total of 53 people dead and at least 129 injured.

The shootings happened at the Century 16 theater in Aurora, Colorado, on Friday night, October 12.

The gunman was also killed.

The mass shooting at the Aurora theatre left six people dead, including a 12-year-old girl, a 24-year old woman and a 25-year man.

The suspect in the shooting was later identified as James Holmes, 26, of the Aurora suburb of Glenwood Springs.

He was found dead in a hotel room at the Four Seasons hotel in Aurora.

The gunman, who was wearing a mask, was later killed by police.
