An Associated Press investigation has found that the victims of a mass shooting in Kansas were not the same people who were killed in the Tucson shooting, a church shooting in Texas and a school shooting in Arizona.
AP’s research has uncovered that the two incidents are connected because they occurred in the same county.
We’ve found the same type of people were killed at the Tucson church shooting and the school shooting.
It’s important to remember that people in the community were not targeted.
They were victims of an organized, violent crime.
AP: ‘These shootings are not the exception’The AP’s findings come as the Justice Department is investigating the Tucson, Arizona, church shooting as a hate crime, and the massacre in Kansas as a murder-suicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
