‘Gunfire’ heard after gunfight at San Francisco shooting venue

San Francisco (US) — Gunfire has been heard at a shooting venue near San Francisco’s popular Fruitvale district.

The gunfire was heard around 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

At least one person was killed in the shooting and at least two others were wounded.

“I heard a lot of screaming, yelling, and then the gunshots came,” said a witness.

“I just ran into the club, and there were people running everywhere.”

Police have not released the names of the victims or the suspects, but police have said the shooting was gang-related.

San Francisco has seen at least three mass shootings in the past year, including the December 2016 shooting at a Black Lives Matter protest.

On Monday, police announced they were taking additional measures to curb gang activity in the city.
